Special Project - Home Is Where the Art Is A piece of mine will be part of a permanent installation at the House on Kent Street, a house for families that is part of the Children's Hospital Boston. It will be part of a traveling exhibit from April through June, 2009 before being installed.
			In creating these Washi art pieces, my process is extremely obsessive. It allows me to utilize the imagery of the papers in creative ways. I spend time thinking about how to reconfigure the "static scenes" into something more dramatic. I decide to make a fan shape. Then the process begins. The pieces are all cut apart and rearranged into a three dimensional fan.
